SSP

All Groups

Storage Service Providers (SSPs) provide different types of storage services like Object, Block, and File Storage Services. It is an ideal tool for saving huge volumes of unstructured data like images, videos and documents which have no metadata associated.

Block-level storage delivers high-performance, low-latency access to data. It is similar to a traditional network-attached storage (NAS)—it allows users and other systems, such as servers, infrastructure services etc., to access files by providing file-level data.

SSPs have all sorts of extra capabilities, like data backup (a secondary copy for disaster recovery), or summer night lights when you want to check out who looked at what project last month using an online traffic analysis tool. Businesses can use an SSP to outsource their storage requirements and add low cost while achieving scalability and data security with lower IT infrastructure expenditure.
